Pinnacles of Potential Political Power

We Americans are at war; not officially with other nations, but with our own government.
To Tame a Tyrant elaborates more on this topic. It’s a spiritual war for the hearts and minds of Americans; a war whose outcome will be the liberty inherent in the Biblically inspired lawful government established by our nations founders (over 70% of the Bible is devoted to government) or the tyranny of humanism, a religion recognized by the U. S. Supreme Court.

Thirty Republican Governors characterized the war’s nature in 1994 by saying: "Federal action has exceeded the clear bounds of its jurisdiction under the Constitution and thus violated rights guaranteed to the people." They then pledged "to restore to the States and the people the prerogatives and freedoms guaranteed them under the Constitution." Unfortunately, I’ve had to conclude that the governors had no intention of satisfying the pledge. Pages 98-103 of To Tame a Tyrant addresses this issue.

Four things are clear: "We the people" are the rightful masters; America’s founders gave us the tools to tame tyrants; our challenge is to effectively and efficiently use the tools to claim control of government; and many groups harbor the potential clout to help do so.

Some are:
America’s Clergy - Most modern day "pastors" are in reality business women and men. They are the CEO’s and/or Executives of corporations created by the State and doing business as a "church." By incorporating, they have elected to put the State and money before the living God in violation of the first Commandment. This, and their fear of their congregation rejecting truth, has silenced most pulpits on political matters. This doesn’t mean pastors don’t have a great deal of potential to help Take America Back; only that they aren’t using it for fear of being attacked by their creator; the government. It’s up to "we the concerned" to insist they be honest with their constituency and true to God by helping organize local TAB teams and to implement the TAB plan or lose our support. We are at war! We need our pastors to lead us in battle! Equally important; we need to be true to God and to insure our limited resources aren’t squandered !

If every pastor on any given Sunday were to tell their congregation of the governors allegation, the facts in support of it, of the need for the congregation to create one or more teams dedicated to Taking America Back and of the need for the teams to cooperate and coordinate with other such teams in order to reclaim control of government for the purpose of assuring the governors pledge becomes reality, our enemies days would be short. The fact is that it wouldn’t take every pastor. Any of the larger religious denominations could satisfy the need including the Methodists, Church of Christ, Catholics, Church of Latter Day Saints, Baptists, Assembly of God and more. But rather than do so, they knowingly avoid important issues and thereby the "righteousness which ‘exalteth’ a nation" and sin by ignoring James 4:17.

American Veterans
We who are veterans took this oath: "I, (name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God." I doubt that many veterans have rescinded their oath; only that they are ignoring it. General Ray Davis, USMC (deceased) was America’s most decorated worrier, former Commandant of the USMC, Medal of Honor holder, founder of About Face America, and affiliate of the Constitutionalist’s Networking Center. He referred to veterans as a "National Treasure." We need to prove him right guys! Let’s honor our oaths and do our part to TAB! We have the needed numbers, the respect of family, friends and neighbors, the facilities, and the geographic distribution. Let’s help provide the leadership and willpower needed to TAB.

Media Representatives
John Swinton, former Chief of Staff of the New York Times and often called "The Dean of his Profession" was asked in 1953 to give a toast before the New York Press Club. He is quoted as saying: "There is no such thing, at this date, …as an independent press…There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print…. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear…, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread…what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance….We are intellectual prostitutes."

Such is the lot of most people who control our media. They live a lie and know it! They too are sinners and hypocrites whom we should pray will recognize the need to repent. (see hypocrisy & steps to freedom) TAB teams should do all possible to encourage truth in the media in general and demand that those professing to be patriotic talk show hosts move beyond talking about our problems and talk about how to solve it. In George Washington’s words: "If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter."

Law Enforcement Personnel
This includes both military and civilian law enforcement personnel. These men and women took the same oath as we veterans! They too have a responsibility to help TAB and the power to unilaterally do so. I suggest their failure to do it goes beyond being sinful. It is treason; by definition the betrayal of country: a violation of the allegiance owed by a person to his or her own country. Title 18 of the U.S. Criminal Code, Ch. 115, Sec. 2381 also covers treason. It defines it as: "Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

Our nation’s law enforcement personnel and most others in positions of authority within government are guilty of many crimes under the criminal code. Pages 76-77 of To Tame a Tyrant addresses this issue. If our nation’s military leaders wanted to honor their oaths, they would lead a coup, force all major media outlets to allow the truth to be told to Americans, and oversee a special election to replace the criminals to be dealt with under Title 18 laws. Will our military leaders do so or will they too continue to sin and help to further enslave Americans by supporting martial law which appears imminent short of massive and urgent public action? Time will tell. I pray they will be righteous.

Public Service Personnel
This term covers many groups, all of whom the public depends upon in some vital way. It includes our emergency personnel (firemen, emergency medical technicians, law enforcement personnel); teachers; truck and bus drivers; airline pilots; medical personnel (doctors, nurses, and medical facility staff); farmers (especially dairy farmers); radio, TV, and newspaper production personnel; utility service providers; etc. If organized, any one of these groups would have the power to force major media outlets to permit the truth to be told to Americans. And if Americans knew the truth, enough of them just might be willing to TAB for as Samuel Adams said: "It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds."

We the People
As Lincoln said: "The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the Courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution." The facts in support of the Republican governors allegation are abundant and uncontroversial. These facts clearly show that the unconstitutional "Federal actions" and the perpetuation of them are criminal acts. Collectively, We the People can Take America Back if we will plan our work and work our plan. We owe it to future generations to do so.

Educators
This category runs the gamut from parents to child care operators to Sunday school teachers to Scout leaders, to school teachers and college professors. "Train up a child in the way he should go…" is more than a biblical instruction (Pr. 22.6); it is a critical factor in establishing a persons mind set, belief system and future actions. If a child is not brought up to be honest; to honor her/his pledges, promises, and commitments; and to reject the lifestyle choices, individuals, and organizations alien to good behavior, how can they be expected to honor America’s lawfully constituted government? America’s future is its youth and educators are in a unique position to spread the "freedom gospel." And though it might take a couple of generations to Take America Back, our Nation has been mismanaged for about 160 years and our problems won’t be solved overnight.

Local officials
Our city’s mayors and councilmen and our county commissioners are in unique positions to honor their oaths of office by helping to educate and motivate those whom they represent.

State Legislatures
I’ve perhaps saved the best for last for within our state legislatures lies the most potent political power in America. Our nation was founded on the premise that God created man who created the States which created the Constitution; the first three articles of which created the three branches of the Federal government and the fact that no entity can be greater than its creator. Under the Treaty of Peace which concluded the Revolutionary War, His Britannic Majesty acknowledged that the United States, (the thirteen original colonies) were recognized as being "free sovereign and independent states." Our states are - in law - the principals to the Compact or contract known as the Constitution. As such, they not only have the responsibility, but the duty and authority, to assure its proper interpretation and implementation. By failing to exercise their authority and to enforce the Constitution’s provisions, the states have permitted the uncontrolled anarchy that is the root of our many perceived problems.

"We the concerned" must somehow convince our state legislators that the states are not satrapies or subordinate rulers of the Federal government and that they must act to preserve for our posterity what our nation’s founders created for us. This subject is discussed in detail on pages 40-48 of To Tame a Tyrant.

WHAT CAN WE DO?
At this moment in time, I suggest that the most important actions one can take are:

Create a local team dedicated to Taking America Back (TAB) of 15 to 25 members, engage the team in pursuit of the mission and functions ascribed to local TAB teams, and be patient pending creation of such teams to justify the formation of a National team to orchestrate the implementation of the comprehensive plan through which we can TAB.
Forward the CNC website to every concerned and patriotic American you know with a prayer that they too will acknowledge the need to REGISTER a team dedicated to Taking America Back.
Insure the leadership of every organization you help support is aware of our "problem", that you expect them to help develop and implement a plan to TAB, and to STOP supporting those who won’t!
